Best PCB Layout Practices for Successful Manufacturing Webinar

Nobody can afford for an order to be held as soon as it is released to the circuit board fabricator, or scrapped in production, because of ill-advised design choices – particularly when better choices were available.

In this Webinar, Epec will explain how to improve your PCB designs so they are as close to production-ready as possible, right out of CAD. We will do this by showing examples of several common design / layout errors that fabricators encounter during pre-production review, accompanied by explanations of the problems these errors cause when they slip through undetected into production. For each error, we will explain some surprisingly simple steps that you can take to eliminate most potential problems before they occur.

Our goal is to help designers understand how to create problem-free PCB data files which will run smoothly and without delay through the fabricator's front end engineering stage, straight through production.

Webinar Agenda:

  • Overview of Epec's front-end workflow.
  • Explanation of what information Epec needs to receive for timely processing.
  • The importance of supplying complete and correct data packages.
  • Examples of several common PCB layout errors: How they delay your order, and what to do to address them at the design stage.
  • Summary
