Aerospace RF & Microwave Filters

In the aerospace and military industries, telecommunications and radar applications will send and receive radio frequency (RF) signals to perform specific tasks. This information may consist of flight path information from commercial helicopters and aircraft, or it could consist of military equipment detecting enemy radar systems or jamming their transmitted frequencies. Depending on the specific requirements of the equipment, a high-powered diplexer with RF filters will be needed to sort the different transmitted and received signals through a common antenna based on the frequency allocation. By understanding the characteristics of a diplexer, people can select the right filter and components for the application.

Our expertise in manufacturing custom designs for RF & microwave filter applications is what sets us apart from many of our competitors. We have the technical capabilities to handle complex issues that require the highest degree in reliability for the aerospace industry is one of our specialties.

Air Traffic Control Radio Communications

Providing engineering support is one of our team’s top fortes. We are there through the design, production, and with aftermarket support. Aerospace RF device solutions need to survive high vibration and temperature extremes so our products are designed to reduce temperature and vibration effects which minimize any in flight problems so the device can run at the highest levels of efficiency.

We focus on the highest reliability applications where off the shelf models just will not meet the requirements.

Aerospace Applications Include:

  • ATC (Air Traffic Control)
  • Radar Systems
  • Electronic Surveillance
  • Broadband Spectrum Monitoring
  • Broadband Multichannel Communications
  • Wireless Base Station Systems
  • GPS
  • SatCom
  • Navigation

America's Oldest. A History of Innovation.

Today at Epec, the customer comes first, and everything we do must be put through that filter. Whether it is developing e-commerce platforms to make it easier to work with us, or creating a NPI (new product introduction) process that helps our customers get to market faster, or the other 10 new projects we have in process, we must focus on building the new. By doing that every day, and by always making the customer our top priority, we plan on being here for another 65 years and then some.
