Epec Adds New Order Expedite Feature To Their Customer Portal
Release Date:
[March 14, 2017: New Bedford, MA] As an ongoing effort to better serve their customers and give them more control over the ordering process, Epec Engineered Technologies is excited to announce a new Order Expedite feature in Epec's recently released Customer Portal.
As an industry leader in high reliability manufactured electronics, Epec has continued to bring new cloud based technologies into the manufacturing industry over the past decade. With investments in an ERP system, data storage, and file sharing platforms, Epec has revolutionized how a hybrid manufacturer needs to operate in today's age.
Kendall Paradise, President of Epec commented, "In response to many of our customers' requests, we have been working behind the scenes to introduce this new feature into the Customer Portal. Not only will our customers be able see their orders that have been placed, but they can now change the delivery schedule of any orders to fit their requirements. Being online, you will have access to your orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
Epec's online quote and ordering site for rigid printed circuit boards (PCB) and flexible circuits InstantPCBQuote, allows customers to quote and order in real time. With the release of the Customer Portal back in May of 2015, Epec gave more power to their customers. Customers are now able to log into portal to view their invoices, outstanding and available balances, deposits, credit memo(s), and the terms associated with their account. The new online Order Expedite Feature is sure to be a huge differentiator among others in the industry.
While this new feature allows customers to manage orders on their own, it is not designed to replace the service provided through Epec's customer service and sales team associates. Putting the customer first is what Epec's entire company culture is built around and being able to reach an associate will always be available to help you with whatever you may need.
"We recognize that our customers' needs continue to change, so by having an online option as well as the traditional customer service model gives our customers the best of both worlds.", remarked Ed McMahon, CEO.
The new online feature is one more way for Epec to show how they adapt to the ever changing technologies that become available and how they implement them with one focus in mind, the customer.
