Junior Data Analyst

Epec Engineered Technologies is currently looking for a Junior Data Analyst who is eager to tackle the challenges of a fast pace work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, data driven, and have strong analytical problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for performing SEO research, insights regarding market trends, competitor analysis, along with potential and existing customer research. This candidate will report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with the Marketing Team to help make sound decision based on analytical data.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage both on-site and off-site SEO for the company.
  • Collaborate with content marketing and blog contributors to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms.
  • Manage of organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on site impressions, clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Analyze competitors.
  • Generate reports that analyze competition and customers.
  • Evaluate demographics, distribution channels, and marketing outlets.
  • Identify new market opportunities.
  • Perform extensive market research.
  • Create questionnaires and surveys.
  • Other job duties may be assigned.

Other Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attending online webinars, reading online articles, and/or attending off site training to continually hone their skills.
  • Attend Epec Sales/Company off site conferences.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate's Degree or higher with equivalent course studies are preferred.

  • Experience with data-driven SEO analysis and optimization.

IT Applications Analyst

The IT Application Analyst (IAA) will act as a liaison between assigned applications and customers and employees to identify ongoing enhancements and troubleshoot problems to further utilize application efficiently. For all assigned applications, build, test and maintain software including: master files and training environment, analyzing workflows for the efficient design of all applications, and report writing from assigned applications as required. This person will develop training materials and resource manuals, train new employees and ongoing training of established employees as needed.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Experience implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based ERP & CRM systems. NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Administer and maintain company’s document management system (BOX.com) as well as its integration with the ERP system.
  • Provide internal, on-going system and technical support to users, including training and maintains proper system permissions access for all roles.
  • Maintain the company’s public file share application (Sharefile.com).
  • Route and/or respond to end-user Help Desk tickets, and incoming calls and e-mails regarding technical support needs of the clients according to established SLAs.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for the purchase and support of systems including hardware, software and services.
  • Assist department managers in providing solutions to problems utilizing more efficient operational procedure, work flow, and information technology solution.
  • Roll out and support new business applications as required.
  • Responsible to meet or exceed all goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • On-call availability to provide off-hour support to IT systems as well as coordinating efforts in the event of any service outages.
  • Meet regularly with the IT Infrastructure Coordinator and CEO to determine business objectives with regards to technology and assist with the implementation thereof.
  • Attend industry and vendor events to keep current of new technologies.

Product Manager - Cable Assemblies

The Product Manager – Cable Assembly (PM) is considered to be the resident expert within Epec for cable assembly products. It is the responsibility of the Product Manager to work with customers to provide solutions to specific customer problems through design consultation and, where needed, creation of a specific design. Additionally, the Product Manager, will be responsible for the overall effectiveness of the quote process and resultant business success. The Product Manager will assure that factories receive clear instruction on what each is expected to do and to assure that these instructions are carried out. Ongoing capability assessments are to be conducted to assure Epec is developing our offering commensurate with market/customer demands.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to develop and design solution to their problem(s).
  • Oversee the quotation process to assure the opportunity is legitimate before exploring and to assure all necessary information is available. Assure all information and completed document package is sent to Account Manager.
  • Work with team to design and build powerful products and processes, developing and sustaining components to meet customer needs.
  • Manage the documentation process to include latest revisions; specifics and changes are documented in NetSuite; assure factory documentation package is clear and accurate prior to sending to factory.
  • Work with factories to ensure documents are understood, delivery commitments are feasible, anything changed at factory is communicated to New Bedford, all incoming inspection criteria are understood by us.
  • Ensure factory documentation management processes are accurate and reliable.
  • Work closely with Operations and Engineering to assure continuous process improvements are made.
  • Work with customers when production issues arise.
  • Other job duties may be assigned.

  • Travel in field as warranted.
  • Individual metrics to apply for each Product Manager.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in specified Cable Assembly Product Design required.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
