Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for increasing our market reach and engagement as well as implementing the strategies set forth by the Content Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will also manage Epec’s social media and communication channels and continue to develop long term relationships with channel partners.

In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will also be the main point of contact for coordinating trade shows, events, and promotional items.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Post, monitor, and maintain all social media channels and support strategies set forth by the Content Marketing Manager and/or Director of Marketing.
  • Deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, and YouTube.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies.
  • Grow communication channels through industry publications while developing long term relationships.
  • Distribute content from Content Marketing Manager to select publications content schedules.
  • Maintain publication media kits for advertising opportunities.
  • Handle Distribution of Epec Press releases through the proper channels.
  • Outreach to Engineering Colleges for promotional and educational services.
  • Research and maintain organizational memberships, dues, and benefits. (IPC, SMT, IEEE, etc.)
  • Coordinate events such as MFG Day.
  • Coordinate trade shows including, researching shows in our target market and booking the show. Sending out tradeshow display and materials to ensure they arrive on time.
  • Responsible for the ordering, inventory, and distribution of promotional items, aka ‘chotskies’.
  • Responsible for shipping promotional items, product samples, marketing materials, etc., to Sales team.
  • Provide support to marketing department as needed.
  • Other job duties may be assigned.

Other Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Stay up to date on new features associated with our Social Media channels.
  • Monitor Social Media comments that might be posted off work hours.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; attending online webinars, reading online articles trade publications.
  • Travel to trade shows as an Epec representative if needed.
  • Attend Epec Sales/Company off site conferences.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate's Degree or higher with course studies in marketing related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing related position is preferred, but not required.
  • Communication, marketing and/or public relations experience desirable.

  • Experience with Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.

Junior IT Application Analyst

The Junior IT Application Analyst (IAA) will act as a liaison between assigned applications and users to maintain application integrity, identify & implement needed enhancements, and troubleshoot problems to further increase application efficiency. For all assigned applications, the candidate will be tasked with creation of business process workflows, work process documentation, training material creation, database maintenance, as well as other duties as assigned. The candidate will have strong people skills as they train new-hires as well as vested employees in use of assigned applications. The IAA may need to work evening and weekend hours to manage the needs of our European and Asian operations.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer / maintain corporate ERP system (NETSUITE.com)
  • Administer and maintain company’s document management system (BOX.com) as well as its integration with the ERP system.
  • Maintain the company’s public file share application (Sharefile.com)
  • Roll out and support new business applications as required.
  • Provides internal, on-going system and technical support to users, including training and maintains proper system permissions access for all roles.
  • Route and/or respond to end-user Help Desk tickets, and incoming calls and e-mails regarding technical support needs of the clients according to established SLAs.
  • Assist department managers in providing solutions to problems utilizing more efficient operational procedure, work flow, and information technology solution.
  • On-call availability to provide off-hour support to IT systems as well as coordinating efforts in the event of any service outages.
  • Available and willing to travel as business needs dictate.
  • Attend industry and vendor events to keep current of new technologies.
  • Other job duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
  • Prior experience in Information Technology preferred.
  • Programming background: strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML 3.0, CSS, and SQL are required.
  • Experience using SuiteScript API is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with web site design preferred.
  • Experience in proficiency with managing workflows with one of the following systems preferred: NetSuite, Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Oracle, Salesforce.com, HubSpot.
