Technical Resources

Below you will find some resources for HMI (Human Machine Interface) products, including connectors, switches, LED's, Adhesive Tapes, ASTM standards, and component suppliers.

NICOMATIC - Connectors and Pins

NICOMATIC specializes in the development and manufacture of interconnect solutions and metal dome switching technology for all types of man/machine interfaces.

Panasonic - Tactile Switches

Panasonic's products are engineered to serve the needs of various industries such as home appliances, consumer electronics, communications, automotive and healthcare.

3M™ - Adhesive Transfer Tapes

3M™ adhesives are a popular choice for graphic attachment and membrane switch applications because it has excellent quality, consistency and durability.

Adhesive Transfer Tape Recommendations

  • 3M 467MP is the most commonly used rear adhesive on membrane switches. It is highly recommended for bonding to smooth metal and high surface energy plastics. It is UV resistant and has excellent high temperature and moisture/solvent resistance as well.
  • 3M 468MP is recommended for bonding to rougher surfaces.
  • 3M 300LSE series is recommended for bonding to low surface energy plastics such as polypropylene or powder coated paints. 3M 9672LE is recommended for textured plastic surfaces. 3M 9471 and 9472 are also commonly used adhesives from this series.
